In this season of Break the Case, the team investigates the 47-year-old unsolved murder of Deborah Sue Williamson.

Debbie Sue Williamson was married to her husband, Doug, for less than three months before her murder.

In the first episode of Break the Case, learn about Deborah’s brutal murder. On August 24, 1975, she was stabbed 17 times in her own backyard in Lubbock, Texas. Her husband, Doug Williamson, found the body of his wife late that night after coming home from work.

In this episode, hear from Doug himself. Doug was married to Debbie for less than three months before he found her body near the back step of their home. Hear where Doug worked, his willingness to take a polygraph test, and his ongoing efforts to cooperate with police to find out who killed his wife. As Deborah’s husband, Doug was initially a suspect, but police quickly ruled Doug out as a suspect.
