It’s coming. Are you ready? The Business and Management Virtual Career Fair (VCF) will be held on June 20th from 9 a.m – 4 p.m. EST.

My name is Leia O’Connell; I’m a Certified Career Coach for APUS and the designated coach for students interested in business and management careers. You can work with me directly to prepare for this event by emailing CareerServices@apus.edu (don’t forget to include your Student ID#) or submitting a “Career Coaching” request via your ecampus.

Keep in mind as the VCF gets closer, the demand for coaching gets higher. Reach out now to receive optimal and individualized services.

If you’re reading this at 8 a.m. on June 20th – don’t panic! Give the department a call and coaching staff will be available to discuss how you can make the most out of the opportunity with limited time. I’ll be chatting live during the entire event within the virtual platform. Feel free to chat me up!

I’ll also be hosting a Last Chance Insights webinar on June 19th at 7:30 p.m. EST, focusing on event preparation and attending employers.

While you’re in the ecampus, go ahead and register via the “Virtual Career Fairs” link. There’s no reason to wait – registering now lets us know you’re interested in attending. Register before June 15th and coaching staff will reach out to you via email and make sure you’re feeling prepared.

Preparation

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, preparation is the most important piece for success at a VCF. Take a few moments and listen to our department podcast (hosted by me!) and review a short blog on the topics of VCF preparation.
