While it’s more than worthwhile, adjusting to an online learning environment takes some time. To help students in 2025 and beyond, the University has designed a set of new courses to help all our associate and bachelor’s degree students adapt to online learning as quickly and easily as possible.
What Are the New Courses?
The new courses are:
- COLL111: Planning Your Future with Purpose in Humanities and Education
- COLL112: Planning Your Future with Purpose in Business
- COLL113: Planning Your Future with Purpose in Health Sciences
- COLL114: Planning Your Future with Purpose in STEM
- COLL115: Planning Your Future with Purpose in Security and Global Studies
Each of these courses is available starting on January 6, 2025. In addition, taking one of these courses will satisfy a general education elective requirement for civics, political science, or social science.
What’s Covered in These New Courses?
The “Planning Your Future” courses are specifically geared toward your values, motivations and goals. By understanding how your values shape your aspirations, you’ll gain powerful insights to pinpoint your professional goals.
Also, you’ll learn strategies for:
- Goal and project prioritization
- Critical thinking

- Applied and collaborative learning
