Eight American Public University System students selected as Finalists for US government’s premier public service career program-The Presidential Management Fellow Program

Each year, the Presidential Management Fellows Program (PMF) selects Finalists to apply for coveted fellowship positions within government agencies. This highly-regarded federal program places Finalists in two-year fellowship programs. These fellowships equip Fellows with invaluable professional knowledge and experience, providing Fellows the opportunity to transition into a permanent full-time position with the federal government, and can act as a gateway to serving in critical roles within public service.  The PMF application process is extremely competitive; being selected as a PMF Finalist carries with it great prestige, as only the best students from around the globe are selected as Finalists and Fellows.

This year proved no exception: PMF received a total of 9,102 applications; and ultimately only 850 were selected as Finalists for PMF’s Class of 2011. American Public University System’s Office of Student & Alumni Affairs was proud to nominate 31 APU and AMU students this year. We are even prouder to announce that of those 31 students, eight were selected as Finalists! Congratulations to this year’s Finalists!
