Think Literal When Deciphering Job Descriptions

A lot of people tend to over think things when it comes to the job market. You overdress for your interview (not a bad thing),  bring way too many copies of your resume with you, and you may apply to jobs that have no relevance to your skill set. If you want to save yourself some time and aggravation, don’t read too far into the job description. Look at what’s at the surface, and save questions for the interview.

If the job calls for flexibility, then they’re looking for someone who can work with THEIR hours. This means you may have your schedule switched around at some point too. “Growth opportunity” is referring to that position and its potential.
